Tots-to-Teens on the scene Reporters

Join us on April 2nd at 6:30PM at the Petworth Library in Washington, DC, 4200 Kansas Ave., NW, Washington,  DC  20011 | 202-243-1188 | Metro Stop: Georgia Ave.-Petworth

We're looking for children and teens, ages 7 to 17, to be special guest On the Scene Reporters for the 2014 Tots-to-Teens Expo. Winners will be selected and notified prior to the event and training will be provided by some of the area's leading broadcast and entertainment professinoals. This is your child's chance to gain valuable exposure and experience while having some fun at the same time.

We're expecting a large turnout for these auditions. Pleae use the form below to notify us of your plans to attend or email us at reporter@thebetterfamily.com and include "On the Scene Reporter Audition" in the subject line of the email.

Here's some important information that you need to know to ensure that your child meets all our our requirements (use the form below to request additional details):

• One audition will be held for all regions on March 26th from 6pm to 8pm
• A total of 4 reporters between the ages of 7 and 17 will be selected
• The T2T reporters is a non-paying position
• You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Each of our reporters must be able to write in complete sentences
• If selected, a parent (or an authorized guardian) and the child must attend a 2-hour training class - (date and time to be announced)
• Your child must be able to speak clearly. We welcome children that are bilingual
• You must be able to volunteer to work 4 hours, the day of the Expo to record interviews
